Hey there.

hello Linkin Park fans, my name is Brandon, and as of today I am officially taking over FYLP. I just want to thank Cindy again for allowing me to be the new admin. Thank you!

so I figured I would make a introduction post to tell you guys a little about myself and my history with LP, and to tell you some things I have planned for FYLP.

I’ve been a Linkin Park fan for about ten years now. In the summer of 2002, when I was 9 years old, I went on a cruise and there was this service where people could rent these fancy new music players called “iPods.” All we had to do was flip through a book of available artists and pick some whose catalogues we’d like put on our iPod. I saw Linkin Park listed and remembered seeing a commercial or music video of theirs on Fuse TV, so I chose them. When I got the iPod, I listened to Hybrid Theory, and the rest is history.

I joined the LPU during LPU6 and was a member through LPU10, but have yet to renew my account this year due to insufficient funds. I was also a member of the Linkin Park Street Team for a year. I am a member of both LPLive.net and LPAssociation.com, my user name on both sites is Xero21 if anyone else happens to frequent those sites. Unfortunately, I’ve only seen LP live once, on July 27th, 2008, at the Nissan Pavillion (now known as Jiffy Lube Live) in Virginia. I would have gone to see them on February 10th last year in D.C., but as you probably know that was the first of a few shows to be canceled due to Chester’s illness. My favorite album is A Thousand Suns.

as for my plans for FYLP, I will of course be posting news, and fun LP pictures and videos. I also have some fairly rare stuff some of you may not know of that I will upload from time to time. I also plan on doing the occasional interview with some LP fans that are well-known/important in the LP fan community.
